He entered the common room and headed straight up to his room, grabbing a book, a roll of parchment, and a quill before heading back down to finish his homework on the couch. He crossed his legs and rested his book on them, leaning over and scanning his eyes across the small text, occasionally taking notes. Now and then he stopped to look around as someone headed upstairs, watching them disappear into the dormitories before trying once more to truly focus on his work.
It was pointless.
But at least this way, most people figured he was busy and left him alone.
He wasn't sure if that was a relief or a dissapointment.
